Our Owners
ExotiKite Kiteboarding School is a family owned kiteschool and shop run by husband and wife team, Ian Sanders and Megan O’Leary. They, with their 2 boys, Kody (10) and Rhys (7) have called Los Barriles their home for over 20 years.
Our Roots
Drawn by a love of water sports and toes in the sand, Baja living, ExotiKite Kiteboarding’s roots were planted in a palapa shack on the beach. Ian and Megan lived and worked from this humble hut on the beach, teaching a couple of students a week, learning our craft, and developing our vision of sharing our passion for kiteboarding with the community and beyond.

Our students come first. This means you! We invest our heart and soul in every single one of our students to offer you the best kiteboarding experience possible. We are constantly refining our instruction, developing new techniques and utilizing the latest in equipment and technology so that our students discover the same joy we have in kiteboarding.

Operating since the inception of kiteboarding in 1998, ExotiKite Kiteboarding was the first dedicated kiteboarding school in Los Barriles.
