Whether you’re taking your first lesson or leveling up your skills, our one-on-one kiteboarding instruction is tailored to your goals and riding style. You’ll train with certified instructors using the latest Duotone and Cabrinha gear, radio helmets, and beach vehicle support. All on the wide, uncrowded shores of Los Barriles.
Already comfortable riding upwind? We also offer premium daily gear rentals for experienced riders looking to explore on their own.
Beginner Lessons
Perfect for total beginners. Learn basic kite control, safety systems, terminology, and wind theory. This intro ends with a tandem body drag in the water. No prior experience needed.

Our complete intro course, spread over 4 days. You’ll progress from beach training to water starts, first rides, and full upwind control.

Kiteboarding is safe and fun for the whole family. We offer specialized lessons for kids (typically 10+ and 80+ lbs) with an emphasis on safety, engagement, and confidence.
Advanced Lessons
Learn to jibe, tack, jump, and ride waves using our 2-way radio system with real-time feedback from your coach.
Start with 1 hour of eFoil training to learn foil control, followed by kite + foil integration for a smooth transition into foilboarding.
Start on a foilboard behind the kite with progressive mast sizing to make the process safe, approachable, and low-impact.
This session is customized to your goals: transitions, big air, wave riding, you name it. After your coached session, head out for an independent ride.
Add $50 for foil rental.

Confident riding upwind? Rent top-tier gear and take full advantage of the Los Barriles wind. We offer a premium quiver of Duotone and Cabrinha kites and boards, professionally maintained and ready for a great session. All rentals include helmet, PFD, and optional wetsuit.

Rental Requirements & Policies

Rentals available after lesson gear needs are met

Rental hours: 10am–4pm daily

Pre-payment, signed waiver, and credit card required

Renter must be IKO Level 3 or pass a 30-minute instructor evaluation ($25 USD)
